A monthly magazine for the valley
Your Vegas Life
Las Vegas valley homes, plainly explained. One read a month and you know what homes here are doing, what to do about yours, and where to go this weekend. Free, no sign-up, nothing to fill in.

Current issue · November 2026
The Lights Go On
Twenty-eight pages on the month the lights come on: where the holiday lights are, race week on the Boulevard, and what November actually feels like here.
- November and December, dated. Every local event and holiday in the issue, plus every Golden Knights game.
- Where the holiday lights are, and the night each one switches on.
- Race week: what closes, and where to watch it for free.
- Boulder City, Henderson, Summerlin and North Las Vegas, and what is worth doing in each this month.
- What valley homes did in September. Four figures, each with its source and its month.
- Selling and buying at the same time, three ways to do it and the one I recommend.

Why it exists
Most of what gets mailed to your house is an ad with a few facts stapled to it. This is the other way round.
Every number in it carries its source and the month it came from, so you can check it. Nothing in it promises how fast a house will sell, because nobody can keep that promise. If something in here is useful to you and you never call me, the magazine still did its job.
The articles behind it live on my blog, and the three free guides go deeper on selling, buying your first home and buying your next one. If you are selling, read how The Week One Launch works, or ask what your home is worth.
The archive
Every issue keeps its own page.
Want it for your own street?
Tell me your neighborhood and roughly when you are thinking about moving, and I will tell you what homes near you are actually doing. If the answer is that you should wait a year, I will tell you that too.
Selected public events and observances; confirm details with organizers before you drive. Market figures carry their source and month and describe the valley, not any one home.
