Privacy policy

This site collects information only when you give it to me. The contact form and the guide sign-up forms ask for your first name, your last name, your email address, and, if you choose to give it, your phone number and a short message. Some forms ask one or two extra questions about your situation, such as your timeline or whether you are buying or selling, and those answers are collected too.

If you give a phone number, the site records whether you ticked the text-message consent box, the exact consent wording that was shown to you, and the time you submitted the form. That record exists so that if I ever text you, I can show that you agreed to it and what you agreed to.

The site also records where your visit came from when that information is available: the campaign tags on the link you clicked and the website you arrived from, reduced to its name only. That describes the advert or the post, not you, and it is never the full address of a page you were on.

Nothing else is collected automatically beyond the standard server logs that every website keeps. There are no advertising pixels or analytics tags on this site today. If that changes, this page changes first, and it will name each one.

I use what you send to reply to what you asked. If you asked what your home is worth, you get the number. If you asked about a neighborhood, you get an answer about the neighborhood. If you asked for a guide, you get the guide.

I do not send marketing email. You will not be added to a newsletter or a drip campaign because you filled out a form on this site. If I ever offer marketing material, it will be something you choose to sign up for separately, with its own clear opt-in, and this page will say so.

I keep what you send for as long as it is useful in helping you with what you asked about, and I delete it when you ask me to. I do not share your information with any third party for their own use. The only companies that touch it are the service providers that run this site for me, named above, and they process it on my behalf and for nothing else.

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email JArendt658@gmail.com or call or text 702-881-6562 and tell me which you want. I will confirm when it is done. If deleting your information would make it impossible to complete something you have asked me to do, I will tell you that before I delete it.

Because I do not send marketing, there is nothing to unsubscribe from. If that changes, every marketing message will carry a one-click way to stop, and this page will explain it.

This site is intended for use in the United States. This page exists because California and other states require any commercial website that collects personal information to post a clear privacy policy, and because it is the right thing to do regardless. The larger consumer privacy laws that apply to big companies generally do not apply to an individual real estate agent. If you believe one applies to your situation, ask me and I will find out rather than guess.
